  • My IDE Mac Companion 0.5.0 (105)
  • Applies system proxy bypass when setting explicit HTTP (localhost, tailnet,

  • Simulator stream froze while clicks still worked.
  • No protocol change for media or input channels.

v0.4.2

2026-09-30 · build 93

  • ## 0.4.2 (93)
  • **The address list no longer points at tunnels.** A Mac with a corporate VPN announced its tunnel addresses as if they were the local network — `10.203.0.6` on `utun12`, `10.88.0.1` on `utun8` — so a client off that VPN spent the full 1.5 s LAN budget on each one before falling through, and the label claimed "same network" for something it could never reach. Tunnel interfaces (`utun*`, `ipsec*`, `ppp*`, `tun*`, `tap*`) are not the LAN anymore: carrier-grade NAT is still recognised as Tailscale and stays on the list as the overlay, while any other address on a tunnel is dropped instead of being offered as a short path.
  • **The privileged proxy helper is in the bundle again.** Applying the system-scope PAC needs root, and that runs through `MyIdeProxyHelper`; the generated Xcode project had lost the target that builds and embeds it, so the distributed app shipped without the helper and nothing failed — the system proxy simply did nothing. The project is regenerated from `project.yml` with the helper target, its copy phase and the embed step, and packaging now **refuses to ship** if `Contents/Library/LaunchDaemons/MyIdeProxyHelper` is missing or duplicated in `Contents/Resources`. The system-scope proxy works instead of failing silently.
